I’ve been making jewelry since I was in middle school. Mostly I made bracelets solely for my own enjoyment and pleasure. I would make friendship bracelets for myself and a few friends. Some of the bracelet styles were too expensive for me to buy as a kid, so I would find materials and create my own to match them as closely as I could. Over time I got better at making the styles and even mimicked some exactly. In time I even learned how to use copper twists into rings and other things. Then I got older, I got summer jobs, and then I was able to buy those once expensive adornments. I continued for a good while during high school, but college came so my focus moved on to other things yet again.

After college, I had a family to take care of, so all my time was spent caring for them. When the pandemic hit, life changed for the world; life changed drastically for me. The company I was working for lost its job contracts, and like so many others during that time, I also found out the strength of my relationships and who truly cared about me. In the midst of all that chaos I needed something to calm me and give me a sense of control. I began creating jewelry again. At first I made things just for me, and people were complimenting my works and telling me to do it for commissions. I refused for a while but then I thought about the fact that my income was low so why not give it a try. Well I did, and it has been going well! I always use quality materials like precious and semi-precious stones. Everyone appreciates quality, and I aim to make sure each piece is made with care.
